Sit or Start Injured Player

WR1 on my CUST-10 team is Questionable with a (37/100) leg injury heading in to the League Championship. I'm pretty deep at the position, but he's my best WR and as many of you guys know, I like to air it out. Should I use him? maybe drop him to WR3 after my other two very good WRs?

At WR I'd probably play him, if you're throwing him deep routes you should get everything out of his catching and catch reception courage. I've seen really slow WRs be successful.

I see you put him at WR3.

I would note the young guys experience and 55 foot injury. Compared to a 37 leg......i would think it would be worse to have the young guy out the majority of the time. Especially after a retrun. Thats one stamina hit, but perhaps they wont score or they have a kicker or punter who just doesnt let up many returns. Then maybe ingnore snap counts, but depending on formation he might play twice as much but be hurt only 22 difference. Its like a 6 point difference in speed after the injury penalty, but the vet is much more experienced and will play abit better. Then perhaps at WR 3 both will torch a weaker CB 3, but if either one gets more injured they will be less effective vs. any defense.

Thats why to get crazy and split even more WR reps out by playing your backs at WR as they are very experienced there. Its the playoffs i would sit noone. I would limit some snaps but its 37 at like 80 speed and 55 at like 90 speed. Both are still fast, but they will be playing at 70' s and 80's alot due to stamia hits and and worse if either reaggrevate thier current injury and or add another leg injury to it. Still, that is probaly less than 50/50 chance of happening.

In other words i would put him at WR3 like you but pull return duties of Lopez and or play those backs on the outside in spread sets and the veterans in the slot. So the QB looks at them as a blitz read first. Or they just dont get covered.....

I just checked.... you are playing gdad. Defintly try this. Spread it out . Let him blitz. Send experienced recievers to spot the blitzers came from and pray! Hopefully Carroll will read it everytime! And go 20/25. Long is problay not the way to go unless you have extra blockers for time.
