Due to my observing certain teams getting stacked with high round draft picks and preying on less experienced owners I have started the following guidelines. Feel free to comment.

Note: the only owners that will balk at this are the ones that are currently ruining our leagues.

1. Don't trade quality for quantity.
2. Don't make a trade that would give another team a major advantage. Check to see how many draft picks they already have.
3. Don't trade for players when there are FAs that are of the same quality or within 5% of the player being offered.
4. Don't trade for mid-level, 50-60, players before the draft. There will be plenty in the FA market after the draft.

Looks like he's won a few titles as well but you neglect to mention that. Even if he hasn't won anything, that doesn't make his advice null. Good advice is good advice no matter who its coming from.

he might have a losing owner but if people are going to decide a suggestion is only good if that person has a winning record then really they have lost the sight of someone's idea/suggestion to make something better.

Just because you don't know how much of a problem this is, doesn't mean it isn't a problem. It simply means you are not aware of it.

I'm pointing out what a LOT of people are complaining about in MANY league forums and I am trying to do something proactive to stop it. Your trolling me doesn't mean there isn't a problem and most people here are intelligent enough to know that.
