the only one who thinks that with the new changes to the website that give powers to members like forming a new league for example, that the website is on it's last leg. It is almost like JDB threw his hands up in disgust and walked away.

I was thinking in quite the opposite direction as your seeing it.

Things appear to keep evolving.

Independently owned leagues promote more competition and more active participation in leagues. It's easy to walk away and join another allocation draft knowing that the league you are leaving is going to be 50% AI in 5 seasons. And repeat. Indefinitely.

The private leagues are, in many cases, invite only. This will lead to more competition, more communication, and, in turn, game evolution. It also allows JDB to persuade newer players to enter leagues created for the sole purpose of helping them learn the game, which will lead to more owner retention, and in turn, more leagues.

This is the best move he has ever made since creating this game.

i say that because i think really if JDB was at the point he wanted to give up or throw his hands up in digest and walking away from this game i really dont think he would allow this game to be played because there has been times he has said he takes things personally like the OVERUSE of 1 offense or defense play and i think he would just pull the PLUG on this game instead of allowing this game to be played without any fixes to bugs that might pop up.


Other games i have played either be facebook or other web sites what usually happens is you dont see the admin/mod at all on the forums , you keep seeing bugs in the game not getting fixed , you dont have active admin/mod in the forums , etc. which really what happens is the game is put on auto pilot until at time the game developer pulls the plug on the game.


Now if you see some of those examples i posted above from other games then yes JDB did throw up his hands in digest and walk away though i still think he would the plug on the game if it ever came to it instead of having those examples happen .

jdb is the real deal. one man wreaking crew. I don't think there is a force out there that could stop him. the game will end when he chooses. not the other way around. if anything this is the most comfortable/ confident I have seen him, ever.

was thinking that might be 1 force out there that could stop him which is he BURNS himself out which i hope he takes breaks from game or game code and like takes walks or something where he re energizes himself where he will never burn himself out and where he keeps working on it with the same excitement he had when he first made this game.

I understand that line of thinking, but the physiology behind getting "burned out" is very independent per individual. the bodies response to are the same for all of us , but the life choices we make everyday is what dictates one getting " burned out" .

I think jdbs energy is in the right place....i see him on here early and late at least every other day and that problay is the only moments he has. still he seizes the opportunity.

stress is caused by over loading the liver with lactic acid. or being deficient in vitamins and minerals . diet and lite exercise can essentially allow someone to live virtually stress free at all times. no matter how much duress is put on someone's body. more stress you want to handle the more strict you have to be with your choices.

walking is good but it's only one part. if you over exercise you are using up all your vitamin B. replenishing all 24 is one key to avoiding stress. along with having your energy creation in a state of ketosis as that allows for your body to heal and repair efficiently living without inflammation .

if jdb is ever feeling stressed he could always pm me for more information. or I could direct him to a doctor who practices this method of healing.
