All the picks in the San Diego game came on plays that the QB was forcing passes. He had only 3 options on 3 picks and 4 on the other. Also, the D maximized thier effect by calling a blend of man/zone coverages that kept 6 guys covering 3 or 4 possilble recievers. Those numbers favor the D in my opinion. Keeping blockers in should have a negative effect on the offense, especially in those play calling circumstances. Those man/zones can be beat like that,but the O should be elite or the D very bad.
