Continued Absence

Hey Folks - I thought I'd explain why I've been away from the game, and why I'm likely to continue staying away from the game for awhile.

In December of last year and January of this year, I experienced tragedies both at home and at work that took most of my attention for several months. I'd rather not go into details. Some of you know some of the details, and that's enough for me to share.

Since then, I've also had a pretty hectic work schedule that hasn't left a lot of time for outside projects. And when I have time, I'm going to admit that I'd rather just play match 3 games on my phone or Retro Bowl since I don't have to think about either one.

As a result of what's been going on, I don't currently have the mental energy to put into the game. Especially since I didn't feel like 4.7 was that fun to play. I may come back eventually and start a new data project, but I would like to see changes in the game that make me want to play again.

So let me wrap up loose ends. I apologize if you PM'ed in the past several months and I didn't respond. I'm not likely to respond now either.

I apologize if you were part of the BD league. I didn't even really have the energy to wind it down.

Here's to hoping that 4.8 makes looking at MFN data worthwhile again.

Hang in there! We all go through bad luck outside forces beyond our control at some point. I heard it’s called life, but I don’t seem to have one.

I freaking LOVE retro bowl!

Other than that...
Pardon my side-hug, honestly sharing even the smallest snapshots of real life is hard, and I appreciate you.
I'm not the only one in the community in your corner.
See you on the other side of difficulty.
With sincere gratitude and kindness,
CSB
