Fatigue and how players are replaced

The new available option on position specific monitoring of fatigue is as previously stated by others, a good thing (thanks again JDB).

My question is how are the players reinserted into the game, if taken out due to the fatigue setting? Does the player removed go back into the spot after being rested? What if he was already substituting for the starter, does the starter take his place? How long does a player need to sit in order to be re-inserted? Multiple plays? Does it depend on the position? If instead of the depth chart, you have a player playing via the over ride. Who (specifically which player in depth) replaces him?

I'm thinking this situation might easily happen with RB's or WR's or Pass Rushers? Actually it could happen in more situations than I originally thought.

And a related question, but slightly different: when a player is injured during the game, does the AI remove the injured player? How is THAT replacement selected?

If I'm thinking about something that won't make a difference, or matter, I'm sorry to have brought this up.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The coach will start at the top of your depth chart and work his way down until he finds a player that either (a) has not already been inserted into the lineup, (b) has a fatigue below the threshold, and (c) is not on the bench due to injury. If the coach reaches the end of the depth chart without finding a player, i.e. all players are too fatigued, the threshold is reduced and the coach tries again. If the fatigue threshold gets too low (because all the players are injured or otherwise on the field already), then the coach repeats, looking at all of your players in that position group, followed by all of your players in that same side (offensive/defense), followed by all the players on your team. The order that the positions are chosen are random with the exception of a few key positions (QB, K, P) that are always chosen first.

While players are on the bench, their fatigue is recovering, so they will eventually get back above the threshold (speed is based on their conditioning)

So let's say a starter has been subbed after he dropped below a fatigue threshold of 70. Does he immediately come back in after he gets above 70? Or does he have to wait for the guy subbing for him to drop below 70.

He returns immediately when his fatigue returns to being above the threshold.

But wouldn't that player keep subbing in and out every other play? Like he gets above at 71, then runs a route and then immediately (or a play or two after) drops under 70. I would think the player would wait till like 80 or begin to lower his threshold upon re-entering at 71.

I think you set your own threshold....which I remember doing but unsure if it changed or not....I remember having it set to around 60 and to bring them back it in.... it was set to like 85
