Is there a science to adding your newly drafted rookies to the depth chart for Training Camp?
I ask this because I'm not sure if it deters your Rookie from progressing if they are in the "wrong" slot.
In my short experiments, for example. I've taken players who
should be better suited to play FS and put them there. Volatility wasn't a factor with these players and they stunk it up in training camp. I've noticed this with other positions lately with my teams also.
I feel I draft better than the average Joe (not bragging), just wondering if it's the players I'm drafting or like I mentioned, a science to placing your players in the proper depth order?
Thanks to all who are kind enough to respond,
