Also... if he's cheating... why didn't he cut the 91/91 QB or the 84/84 Back Up QB? The 97 LG or the 91 LT? The 90 DE?

Now I agree 100% that I'm not sure why he cut the 6 guys in PS 4 and W 1, but he's got a 52 Man Roster that still has a ton of Talent (and is now 2-0). The new guy hasn't made any Transactions.

And it has 2023 as AI in the History, since JP55 left in 2022. So what's the Owner History in 2023? Who picked them up, when did they leave?

Also I found the 'Welcome MYRAXA' post. Page 3 on 4/25/2017 at 2:14 PM.

So... it all happened 'in the last 10 days' and the guy that said he'd been there 'almost a month' was wrong?

For an Update...

the Welcome Post for the guy didn't disappear. It was on Page 3. He'd owned the Team since 4/25/2017... a Month.

No one swept in over night, cut great players then bailed.

Also, the Team has a lot of Talent that wasn't cut. 4 of the 6 Cut were good, and fairly young. The Roster sits at 52 after the moves (new Owner hasn't brought anyone in, looking at Transactions).

Why did he cut 4 pretty good guys? Not sure. But if he was doing a Talent Dump for a Multi, he sucks at it. That's a Play Off Team that will still likely get back to the Play Offs.

While not Cap Friendly, he does have 20M in Cap (his Cuts seem to have saved him 13M after the 6 Cuts).

My issue is with the way Waivers are done, where the one with the worst record gets the only choice of players.

Here is the Rules from NFL.Com
Once a club waives a player, the 31 other clubs either file a claim to obtain him or they waive their chance to do so (thus the origin of the term “waiver”). Clubs are assigned players on a priority basis. From the first business day after the Super Bowl until the day after the third regular season week, assignments are based on a claiming order that is the same as the order in which clubs selected in that year’s Draft. From the beginning of the fourth regular season weekend through the Super Bowl, assignments are based on the inverse order of their win-loss record. For example, a team with fewer wins will be awarded a player off waivers ahead of a team with a better record. If a player passes through waivers unclaimed, he becomes a free agent. If a player is claimed by two or more teams in this period, priority is based on the inverse won-lost standing of the teams. The team with the worst record has priority. If no team selects the player, he's free to sign with any team, including his previous employer.

In the NFL the Waiver 'rotates'. 32nd Team takes the guy... he goes to the 'bottom of the list'. Then 31st Team comes up and gets the next.

This is a BETTER system, our System is okay but not as good.

The thing is, our System is way easier to CODE than the NFL's.

So I agree, I'd like the NFL's System. Just... going to be some work to get it.

Just wondering.

Has anyone considered the possibility that this owner left the team (or was inactive for 2 weeks and removed), then the cuts were made by the Ai just before the regular season started?

That sounds like the most likely scenario based on what I've read here.

Excellent point. The A"I" is anything but intelligent .. and defies logic .. lol

What if you took a 90 RB and changed his position to a 57 RG and hoped no one noticed so you could resign him. Is that an acceptable exploit?

Is Mordor going to be screwed?

Or are they now going to have the Cap to go after actual Elite Talent in the FA Period?

Ever think the guy was trying to cut them to re-sign them for less, thus creating instant Cap Savings? Waiver Wire stopped him from using that exploit, so he then quit?

Also he 'owned Mordor for about a Month' as well.

You went from talking about a hit and run to talking about a guy that had the Team for a Month. Which is it?

Did some new guy no one ever heard of sweep in, cut the Top Talent on his team and then vanish? Or did some one Own the Team for 'about a Month', make some Cuts (perhaps to try to exploit a Cap Save) and quit when his Exploit failed?

Supposedly, if the player is released to FA, he gets switched back to his highest rated position .. good question though about the waiver wire.

I might suggest in the next up date a rotation system in the waiver wire. or some kind of random system so unscrupulous cheats can't abuse the system. It's a shame it has to be done but every one wants tobe a Tom Brady. I have seen this in fantasy football. IDK if it is doable?
