You've been on this site for 7+ months, I'm pretty sure that's long enough to know that trading an old guy for future picks is a fairly common practice that a majority of the old hat on the site has done at one point or another. If you think this is something else perhaps you should message jbd about it.

I've said this before .. if that's the player that gets you the league championship, it's worth it.

Other than that .. not my league.

Warrior462 seemed upset about it. I was just curious as to whether the average user has an opinion on this issue. I do not know what mine is.

There is no rule against trading old players for picks, some people don't like it.

To me the only thing that made me look twice about it is that user mitch only joined one month ago.

If he felt he had learned enough about MFN in his first month to begin making trades, and felt this was a trade he wanted to make, then it's fine with me (even if he regrets it in the future).

I've made trades in the past I wouldn't now, but I wouldn't want to prevent someone else from making the same trades if they felt it was what they wanted to do.

Doesn't seem too bad. DL play longer than just about every position in this game. The DT has a <1% chance of retiring still and is elite. A legit DT with 90 speed can be game changers and don't last long in the draft if they are sure things. That QB is garbage; I'd just cut him honestly.

Lellow is a master of trades. Most of the time he doesn't even propose them. He puts his studs up for auction in every league he's in and waits for incredible offers to come to him. I believe him to be the best in the game at building a powerhouse and maintaining it. He's always very personable and more than willing to help everyone get better, but make no mistake, he's as shrewd as they come as a GM.

In one of the league's I'm in with him the man had 3 1st round picks and outbid everyone on the top two secondary players available in free agency, both incredible additions. Of course he can afford to sell of his veterans. The man is 4 deep at every single position.

My only real issue with the deal is that the DT in question has an expiring contract and hasn't been resigned as of yet.
