Has there ever been a player like a Deon Sanders in MFN ? One that could play both WR/CB/S and return kicks and punts ? Should a good receiving TE be punished if he plays a few yards away from his natural position (slot WR) ? It seems like you would have to start a Sanders-type player at all those positions every game to make him such in MFN. You would think a 90+ skilled player is skilled athletically...and not just as at a position.

Just a floating thought....

Interesting, I wonder how you would keep him from being dead tired? What about weight for playing different positions?

I had a FB I used as a HB/FB/WR and TE one time. It actually worked out pretty well.

OP has only been here a month? Most of the experienced owners on here build their rosters by putting players in the best position to make an impact. All of the cases mentioned in the first post aren't uncommon in the game.

For instance, I'll take a FS and drop him to NB in the nickle and rotate another DB into the FS spot when I go with two deep safeties. And if that FS is my best KR, he'll be doing that too (although it's easier to find a 90+ SP and 90+ Kick Catch guy to do that and nothing else).

Most of us move TEs to WR (or, more rare, WR to TE) and move FBs to TE and move RBs to WR and then play the WRs as hybrid RBs and move QBs to RBs and the list goes on.

One of the best parts of roster building on this game is moving players to the spot where they can excel.

THIS GUY!!

Clyde McConnell

He was a disappointing 275 lb DE with great M2M skills that I picked up in the 19th round in the allocation draft, I turned him into an FS so he'd lose a bunch of weight and he's now my star MLB...

I went to the Setherick School of Creative Rostering, then I beat ol Seth in the Championship Game... he's fine with it...

Except in my system, he would be a SS or WLB because of that B&R.

You don't play man for any of those positions ? What's the games logic there?

If they play M2M, they are matched up against a RB. Since RBs don't play on the LOS, B&R is irrelevant.

I see, only cause you calls plays where they are matched vs. The RB ?
