GG Cowboys/Taco. Thought we might be getting a pretty clean sim at first but the 4.5 curse kicked in late in 2Q. Your boy Lisk had a good game and your D gave "the ACE" fits all day.
Starting with the Safety on the first Drive he never got rolling. Both teams limped into this game after a rough, injury filled week 3, & it looks like you took some lumps this week as well.
Hope your team gets healthy soon. Good luck the rest of the way sir!

Despite being 27th against the pass the Chiefs have only given up 2 touchdowns in 16Q allowing the fewest points scored. I don't know how but I'll take it...................................MM

GG GrandadB. This was the game I expected to win. Since I couldn't take care of business in Detroit, I'll have to see if I can't take revenge in Green Bay.
I just shook my head at most of this game. It amazes me how teams can play so differently from one week to the next.

Yeah CR, knew it was going to be a tough game, and we were coming off a real good sim vs NO the previous game, my opinion is that you dont get good sims in a row, but who knows. I turned the game off when "Big Deal" Davis threw the pick in the 2nd qtr, and its a good thing I did based on how the game went, frustrating for both of us to watch, and I was surprised to see the win after turning it off.

I think the randomness or frequently called ‘bad sim’ is getting worse. At least before you knew what you were getting but in this code you can be lights out one game and then get your lights knocked out the next. Frustrating.

I get the randomness and am ok with that for the most part. But check this guy out...

Another player with 100 Avoid Fumble and he has fumbled 8 times in 134 touches. How the **** is that random??? This dude shouldn't fumble 8 times in his career if he has 100 avoid fumble. But he is dropping it once every 16 touches!

I tried to ram the ball into a stone wall. That's what I call a strategy miss. lol
Still can't believe you held down the powerhouse offense. jk Philly gets it done.

The Paydirt Report: Week 4

The first quarter of the season is over and we are down to 4 undefeated teams. Kansas City, Miami, Seattle and Tampa Bay. We have 4 winless teams at this point with Tennessee, Washington, NY Giants and Atlanta.

Congrats to GM GrandadB on his 100th win.

Here are some players standouts @ this point.
QB John Sullivan - Sea 117-151 1109 yds 10 TD and 2 Int
RB Nicholas Coombs - Car 94/534 yds 5.7 avg 4 TD
WR Luis Martinez - Mia 30-332 yds 11.1 avg 3 TD
DE Brain Bolles - Mia 8 sacks

Now to the rest of Paydirt

AFC
West
Kansas City(4-0) wins again and jumps out to a 2 game lead in the Wild Wild West. Denver(2-2) jumps into a 2nd place tie with Oakland(2-2) who won their 2nd straight. The Raiders are a lot like Green Bay as far as stumbling out of the gate only to battle back into contention. San Diego(1-2-1) finds themselves in unfamiliar territory at the bottom of he West. But in the Chargers defense, they have had a tough 4 games to open the season. It will get no easier as they will face-off against Denver at home.

East
Miami(4-0) GM Androaski was quote a couple weeks back that he liked the way his Dolphins were playing. And they appear to be hitting on all cylinders. But that is not fazing the NY Jets(3-1) as they are right on Miami's heels. Buffalo(1-3) is surprisingly struggling. They were pick by many to contend with Miami for the East title. New England(1-3) has popped into the win column.

North
Cleveland(3-1) lets their guard down with a loss to long time rival Cincinnati(1-3). But Pittsburgh cannot capitalize as they lose their 2nd straight. Baltimore(1-3) takes their 3rd straight loss.

South
The South is just as wild as the West but in a completely different way. Houston(2-1-1) takes control back the South division lead with their 2nd win in a row. As Jacksonville(2-2) drops their 2nd loss while Indianapolis(1-3) and Tennessee(0-4) both continue to struggle, yet their still in the hunt in the early portion of 1980.

NFC
East
Dallas(3-1) losses to KC and a Philly(2-2) win closes the East back up to within a game. Both Washington(0-4) and NY Giants(0-4) are winless.

West
Seattle(4-0) is trying to runaway with the West but Arizona(2-2) is trying to make that tough as they win 2 in a row to stay within 2 games. San Francisco(1-3) and Los Angeles(1-3) are in spoiler mode already.

North
Green Bay(3-1) defeated Detroit(3-1) in a Battle Royale game for the division lead. Minnesota(3-1) bounces back with a big win to knot up an exciting North race. Chicago(1-3) took it on the chin this week with a 61 point loss to the Saints. Ouch

South
Tampa Bay(4-0) continues to pace the South, but Carolina(3-1) and New Orleans(3-1) are not going anywhere soon. The Saints raised some fears throughout Paydirt with their 61-0 trouncing of the Bears. GM's around the league fear that New Orleans GM Mcarovil may have found something. You can beat your season tickets that they will be keeping an eye on the team from the Big Easy.

Games to watch Week 5
Oakland @ Kansas City
Denver @ San Diego
Carolina @ Houston
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh - Monday Night Football
Tampa Bay @ Minnesota

gg oakland, I am in 9-1 in one league and not one inspiring win. It seems to be the direction of things.
