When asked how he felt about Steve Nelson winning the MVP, Jimmy Chow responded, "Coleman goes for 5400 and 41, goes undefeated. Houck goes for 5700 and 48, loses three games. I go for 6200 and 61, lose one game. They give the award to a LB for a 9-7 team."
He then shook his head and walked away.
I love this stuff and I know this is all for fun, but the Browns had a dominating defense all the way around this year and not one player made the All-Pro team. Guess that speaks volume for the team concept and that my head coach better win Coach of the Year!
I feel the same way about offense. I had seven players with >600 total yards and twelve players that scored an offensive (including SPT) TD. But the offense gets overlooked because of Chow and Bell hooking up for 22 TDs.
Latest rumor in KC is that the GM is mulling retirement. (Between being sick earlier in the month, and the sheer amount of work I'm doing, I haven't been paying attention as much as I should to the game.)

Well, some things at work didn't work out, so I'll keep this team for at least another season. Probably will be on auto-pilot for good portions of it tho.

Well, half a Seth is better than no Seth at all, I suppose. :-)
