Can we just not trade the player over to the Bears for something cheap or a 7th rounder and not make it part of the two trades or is that too much?

Damion swears and I quote, "I swear i didnt cut any Player". The game most likely cut him due to a cap issue. Chicago was then unable to make a claim on him because the game told him that he was 150k over the cap. So he needed to cut some other players first in order to just make a claim. That right there should tell you everything you need to know about what happened.

Go back and read the thread. All of those options were put out there.

Regardless of this one instance the league is very well run and beercloud is top notch. No reason to leave.

Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly but when I was close to my cap two season ago, it allowed me to go over my cap for one week until I cut a player.

Beer is a great commish, I stated that a few post ago I would have done the same as him. My issue is with how the Redskins GM handled it. He initially brought it up, I think I also read 19 GMs had a claim in and many removed theirs, I'm assuming after reading the forums. I think we all know if he didn't get the claim he would be raging right now.

It does let you go over until the final cuts are due after preseason week 4.
Then if you dont get under the cap the game will do it for you. And the ai isn't very nice about it.

But wouldn't it of let him at least make a claim? Yes he would've gone over and the AI would've made a cut, but I've never heard of it actually blocking you from making a claim. Plus it wouldn't of put him over cap.

why not just tell JDB about this circumstance if he can put him back on Chicago or if he cant then after he comes down with his judgment people drop the subject and get to talking about something else.
