Over time, there will be nuanced situations which need to be fleshed out. However, for the time being let's stay with the rules as written. I'd like everyone to get used to using them (most GMs already are). Then, we can address exceptions. I'm all for allowing flexibility where it reflects real life and doesn't take advantage of the AI. I'd also like to acquaint all GMs with the impact (perceived or real) of implementing exceptions to the rules.

Thanks for asking.

Definitely reasonable. The reason why I asked about that particular play is because one of the few ways to disrupt the 221 exploit passing plays (i.e. Deep Corners) is to drop a CB into the blitz MLB position.

The reason that this works is that the CB is the one position that can hit the 96 SP break point, which is as fast as a player at normal weight can move. The only players that move faster are < 191#.

For full disclosure, how this works in the GL Attack (my favorite is the #1) is that the DB comes blitzing after the OL engages. You can disrupt most passing plays with an 88-89 SP LB in that position, but he's a bit too slow to get to the QB against the Deep Corners. A 95-96 SP DB will get to the QB or force a bad pass on most plays.

Now, since I've said this, y'all can go out and beat Smirt.

Now that everyone knows and can plan (or not) for its, everyone is free to use it.

Now i understand why i was outplayed in Champions League ..... 4 sacks and many other plays with high pressure on my QB.....from the CB in MLB position GL formation.....

Yeah, you were my warm up for Smirt.

TL/DR: Don't run the Waggle or Deep Corners against me unless you want sacked 11-14 times.

I haven't played him in Champions yet, and my offense has been struggling.
