I have voided the trade as it violates the rule that new GMs are prohibited from making trades for thirty (30) days after they join the league. The rule is as follows (posted under Trades):

"You may make a trade with another team until the trading deadline of Week 8. There is a limit of three trades between any two teams per season. New accounts are restricted from making trades until they are 30 days old."

If AZ realizes that the WR has maybe 2 years left before the wheels fall off. Frosty has been around enough leagues so I assume he knows what he is getting into, but like Tampa said, just convert the TE to WR and you have the same player, younger, and keep your 1st rd pick.

Good point! I would still rather have the vet, I like his versatility he can line up at wr, rb, etc. Better bump and run, & ball carry. If you like young players and take a chance on the pick good trade for Houston. If you want to try and win now good trade for Az. Now if Hou. turns around and trades that pick for a real good player, that’s another thing.

Could we clarify in the rule that it's 30 days old from join the Paydirt Football League and not just "New Accounts"?

Also, my question was never answered, who's doing the reviewing? The competition committee? Which consists of? There was never any confirmation on the reps.

Good point on clarification of the rule. Can anyone tell me how to change the rule description on the Trades page?

We never addressed the trade review structure after Beercloud resigned. As I recall, we had two reps from each conference and a 5th vote (which was me). Does anyone remember who the two conference reps were (are)? Is there any issue with keeping the same structure for at least the remainder of this season?

Regardless of how this trade turns out, I'd like some clarifications:
A) Who does the review? Last time I checked, there's no committee that was put in place for the past season and this season because Beercloud left as the aftermath of the last trade debacle.
B) Unless I'm mistaking, a 'new' account is someone who has joined MFN within 30 days, not the Paydirt league. If this is posted anywhere, I could not find it.

Refer to this page. This got buried immediately as Beercloud left and the trade debacle ensued -- https://paydirt.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/1287?page=1#8806

Will everyone who has not already voted and cares to do so, please vote for the competition committee. We'll close our the vote after tonight's game. If we don't have enough votes to fill out the committee, I'll designate someone to fill the spot until next season's elections. Thanks.

We still have no rule book in this league. Beercloud deleted it when he left. We can't just make decisions based on what used to be when they are not written down and made accessible for all owners to review and refer to.

I'm sure the poor owner of Arizona is confused by all these rules everyone is talking about because they are not stated anywhere. I can help piece together some of the former rulebook, however, I don't remember it all and will need a lot of help

My two cents...

Stop policing trades. If some owner makes a dumb trade, who cares. Let them ruin their team. I'm here to take advantage of anybody that wants to make a bad trade. Just hit me up.
