These two guys aren't worth the price being paid, but I'm not challenging the trade. joumeng has been able to make trades like this the whole time I've been in this league. No one should wonder why Carolina is at the top of the standings every season.

Yeah, this trade went through before he drafted his player... so technically it should be legal? Especially when Tennessee traded all of their future 1sts for a pick. If it’s voided based off of unfairness, sure... but the deal was completed before he didn’t have any 1sts, which was fine in the past. It was only after the drafted and no long had a 1st round pick that it was a problem.

No. You are incorrect. Warthog/Cleveland ran into this very issue a number of seasons ago. He had made a 1st Rd pick in that season's draft, but traded away his other two season's 1st Rd picks. His trade was voided in spite of having a 1st Rd pick for the current season.
