Congrats to the Falcons and Browns for getting to the 1988 Super Bowl!
Marinarul 10/Falcons gets their 2nd Victory in the League Championship Game. This is the 2nd league championship for the Falcons/marinarul10 in the past 3 seasons. Taking over a floundering 0-7 team with huge dead cap and $6M in cap space. He pulled out a 6-3 finish and went 14-2 in his 1st full season (1981)and made the post season 5 of his 8 seasons (full) in Paydirt. He has an all time Pay dirt record of 106-52-1 with a 2-0 LC, and 4 WC's. Great job!
Warthog and his Browns took a tough loss. This was Warthog/Browns 4 trip to the big game (2-2). As an OGM he has been a perenial threat. In 18 seasons the Wiley Vet has compiled a 216-111-2 record, 2 LC's in 4 tries, 2 Conference Championships and 10 Division titles! After a few rebuilding seasons he has returned to top tier form the past 2 saesons no doubt we will be hearing more from him in the future.
A huge shout out to all the teams that made the Post season! Raiders Jets Patriots Steelers and Texans from the AFC and Redskins Rams Cardnals Bears and Panthers in the NFC.
I'd like to give special recognition to Cyclonemax, Vcr5150, Ofensive Taco, and Ohaldun on much improved teams.
Everyone else as always thanks for making Paydirt one of the best! I'm excited for season 19 and the Future of Paydirt! Don't forget Tuesday 5/4/21 there will be a delay in the sim and we will resume the normal operational on Wednesday, May 5th. Remember to resign your players and coaches. There will be several polls and I am hoping that we have good participation from the GM's.
