I'm seriously considering bailing, too. And...btw....it takes 2 to tango.....
I don't want to leave the league after 17 season playing here, but I really want to hear the rest of the owners.
If we can't achieve a general solution about this, I'll consider leaving the league.

I'm as pissed as mr.androwski is on this trade! To go from the 31st overall right up to the number one for starters that's a huge leap, it's not just about the points or trade score, there are a lot of crappy players who have high trade scores out there, point is it's got nothing to do with the math oh, it's more about the value realistically going to number one overall it's huge. It devalues the realism of a lot of owners put their hard-working time into from this league

I laid out some of my original thoughts about this potential trade in another thread about a contested tread. So I won't rehash that here.
I did make a second offer to MVR last night, which I thought was much more equitable. Since the first offer sat out there for several days, I didn't think it was going to be accepted, so I made a different offer. Then this morning he accepted the first one I made.
Is this a bad trade for Miami? Probably. I would have taken my second offer over this one. But he made that choice because he didn't like the QBs $10 mil salary.
He made it known he was willing to trade the first pick. EVERY owner in the league had a chance to make an offer. Maybe you all did, I don't know. But he accepted this one.
My point is that this trade couldn't have been more out in the open. MVR asked for offers for number one. I announced in another thread that I made an offer. So again, everyone else could have done the same thing. I just wanted him to know I was interested in moving up. Honestly I did not think it would be accepted. Maybe MVR doesn't understand that you can make a counter offer, I don't know. But to be clear, there was certainly no shenanigans/collusion going on here. Maybe a bad trade for one team, but no collusion.

So there are many scenarios we can adopt.
30 day trade ban for all GM's with less than a year in MFN and 2 trade limit between teams per season will stand. The trade meter being turned on doesn't help with most trades because it's flawed BUT it does prevent teams with like IP addresses from trading so it stays as well. We are invite only now so I would like to see Paydirt aprrove any new GM's by VOTE!
I am going to spend the afternoon laying out some solutions to the trade issue. Pease give me a chance B4 you quit. I type slowly so Give me until this afternoon.
One thing I didn't care for is the timing of the trade. I have seen this often by many different players (and Congress). Last minute trades happen i Know. Should we turn off the trades say from Midight to an hour before the draft begins? Just for now and then vote on it. ??????????MM
