The Vilings secure just 2nd division crown in club history with a bye still on the table if they win in week 16 and the Rams lose.
When new owner C. J. Frederickson was asked on his weekly radio appearance what winning the division and making the playoffs means, he had this to say:
"This is a positive step for the team and francise but not the ultimate goal. The goal is to take the next step and the next until we bring a Championship home to Minnesota.
Making the playoffs builds a foundation for us moving forward but the next step is to get our 1st postseason win then the next. The playoffs means we are one of the better teams but we want to reach the promised land"
The bottom line is making the playoffs is the 1st step towards something bigger and better and from what the fans are saying in Minnesota, it's just the start!
