Carolina won this trade regardless of who Miami drafts.

I would of happily given a future 1st for him...no question

Then why didn't you, he's been in the trading block for quite some time (since like Free Agency week 1 or 2)

I just took over the Vikings and had quite a lot on my plate. I'm rebuilding and draft picks are a priority.

I didn't make an offer because I thought a 1st rounder plus more would be the price and my 1st rounder is the #1 overall pick this season.

Basically I didn't make an offer because I believed the price would be too high.

The question is why would you trade a 1st round pick in his 2nd season for a two 3's and two 6's....just the dead cap number alone makes the trade a bad one.

The rule of thumb is never trade a young player for draft picks that can't be used to replace him plus!!!

92 speed/95 acceleration WRs with good pass catching, route running and B&R aren't easy to come by.

He compares well with the top 10 receivers in yardage last season.

Just out of curiosity....what do you have you rated?

Absolutely nothing against $B$Dog$, but the Carolina Panthers have a terrible reputation for swindling their way to great players with bad trades. It precedes the current GMby many seasons.
