I have read through all the propsals and debaets and its a bit confusing. I am starting a new thread. PLZ feeel free to bring up any points from the former threads. I just feeel with so many seasons and new/returning GM's this coarse will simplify matters.. In the past any GM could propose a rule and (correct me if I'm wrong) if it gets a second we can put it to a vote. I have mostly disliked waiting until the following season. What do you all think?.................................MM

Meatman 1,
I propose that the rule that requires 1 first round pick at all times be abolished. Do we have another option? any ideas? I have heard plenty of chatter, now make it matter.....................MM
Both rule proosals are open to debate from here forward. What should the weights be, what positions, how to enforce, and the penalty for non compliance........................................MM
Draft picks are assets which can be used or traded to help build a roster. With the trade committee present to prevent bad trades then any owner can trade away or trade for as many draft picks as they want.
I have an owner in one of my leagues who hasn't had a 1st round pick for 9 of the last 10 seasons. He makes trades for established players using his picks and has won back to back titles.
I know another owner who loves to collect future picks and after 10 seasons of doing this, he finally won back to back Conference Championships and 1 Title.
My point is you can win it all doing both and restricting owners from either doesn't seem to make sense.
