Carolina ships last years starting QB Robert Harper off to the Texans, who now have enough QB's on their roster to start a basketball squad.

Harper bring 47 TD's, 4500+ yds and a 100.7 QB rating to Houston. He will be a nice upgrade to the QB carousel they had one season ago. Carolina trades away another quality starter in the day the Panthers clean house. They also get rid of a top quality DE in Chad Renfro who had 9 sacks and 43 hurries last year.

Houston wins this deal as the Panthers trade away 2 high quality players and did not get much in return.

I like this trade for Carolina. The first rd will produce good numbers the 2nd rd DL is on his waty to becoming a stud. The cb spite his speed can be a good number three corner
