The 4 LCs in row, 5 out of last 6 Falcons made the best move in Early FA1, unfortunately for the rest of the league. They signed TE Pilla, who was stupidly left unsigned by the Ai mismanager of the Ravens, just before UKRAIN took over the Ravens. 18 teams made offers, the most in FA1, and the Falcons landed him on a 6 yr contract for $231.7, $37 mill per year, 3 to 1 bonus/salary. The Saints & Raiders had the next highest bids at $176 mill. The rest of the bids were under $90 mill. Well done Marinarul, you didnt take any chances with the bid amount and an elite TE is much more valuable in 4.6. Overall, it makes a case for delaying the end of season when and if you have a waiting list of new owners until vacancies are filled so the Ai does not screw things up. Pilla was a 1.4 pick, do you think any of us would not have re-signed him? especially with 4.6 coming up? That would have been a priority.
Other FA1 notables.... loan/Cards signed former Rams DT Leonard Anderson to a 92.6 mill/6yr contract.
CRazor/Eagles signed former Steeler QB Melvin Barners to a 6 yr 90 mill contract.
There were a ton of coach changes! Based on 4.6?
