Sorry, if this was the guy I wanted, he would not still be on the scrap heap. He was really good for 4.5, but not so much for 4.6.

What makes you say that? For one year this guy would improve just about every team in the League. I guess he gets passed over on lack of intelligence and he's not the most athletic. He's also not a long term solution due to his age.

I think you're right. I'm kind of resigned to limping along with what I have. I'm seeing now why the FA market got so crazy. Next season, I will have a whole bunch of dead cap, but after that, I should be able to afford improvements.
