Well that team always famous for the “Hogs” on the line and I guess the “fun bunch” of receivers…I guess we could always just consider a “redskin” to be a potato, relocate the team to Idaho and dress up somebody as the “fighting Spud”?

Well, I think it was the facial style logos that Native Americans and more don't like. I always really liked that Redskins logo because the side view of the face presented a look of warrior strength and charisma, but it was the name, Redskins, paired with that logo is what did it in. Now let's think about the old Cleveland Indians logo. Yea that one there was definitely a jest like racial jab on native Americans. The Cleveland Indians logo was way worse than the Redskins.

The Chiefs survived. A simple arrowhead weapon is much better. Like the Seminols too..........they have weapon and a more respectful facial logo. My team in the Elite league has a Tomahawk hatchet logo.

What offends me more than anything was that a gang of white bullies bullied a white owner into changing the name. Nobody was making a big deal of this until the MSM decided it was offensive. Suddenly, Dan Snyder was the devil, as if he needed a reason to be! The name was mildly offensive, but the coordinated smear campaign was much more so.

The fact that some other franchises have survived a name change is beside the point. The point is that a white owner, who is hardly an angel, was pressured into doing this in a very public and very high-handed way. Redskins ownership was forced to lose a lot of money for what they did. Are any of the media hyenas sorry about that? I don't think so.

I never called you woke; you didn't do this. However, everyone who stood idly by while this happened is guilty, at least a little bit. Let the name stand or fall on its own merits. It doesn't need self-righteous whites virtue-signaling to help it along. This behavior will continue until other white people recognize it and call it out for what it is. There is no way we should be sorry for what our ancestors did. Without it, none of us would be here to make other people sorry about anything.

Well this initially innocent joke went a little deeper, darker, and off the rails. Apparently this is your hometown team and loyalty, so credit and respect for that (pieced of **** owner aside, who obviously has nothing to do with the franchise original founding—and somewhat ancient success now, as he has run it continuously into the ground—I can relate on that front) Otherwise, I still like the potato mascot.

Actually, I'm from Peoria, Illinois, and I am a Vikings fan. How I ended up not being a Bears or Packers fan is a long story. I have been a proud oddball for a long time. The reason I am so upset about this is the precedent that it set. Already, the Bradley Brave has been quietly pushed aside, and Chief Illini-Wek is on the ropes. You always have to follow these leftist blame campaigns to their illogical conclusions. They are coming for *you* next.
