Sacks are big in MFN as they are in RL football. The more you get, the better your chances of winning. Best from last season were WLB Daniels/Miami with 22, followed by Wilkerson/Giants with 20, and then a tie at 19 each from Martinez/Lions and Adler/Cowboys. Daniels is positioned at LDE1 and WLB2. Something to keep in mind with your WLB if he has 80+ speed, 90+ strength, and 90-100 pass rush.

Top 3 team rank for sacks were 1. Miami ... 5.7 ..... 2. NYG ... 4.2 .... and 3. ....
Chargers/Cardinals/Bears with 3.8.

Miami dominated the sack category, with the #1, #5, and #13 sack leaders. Speed/Strength/Pass Rush are the key atts, amongst all the top pass rushers.

I would add a few side notes about the sack performances.

1. Daniels missed 5 games that season.
2. Boone played about 350 snaps that season in place of Daniels and for him to pull of a 12 sack season in 5 games is extremely impressive. Same with Pitt who was a acquired via waiver wire.
3. I would argue that the sack performances were inflated a little bit by schedule. In no disrespect to the opponents I've played against, but even you said it yourself, averaging 5.7 sacks a game in a 16 games season (which equals over 80+ sacks) is domination. Another way to look at it, is that I averaged 5.3 points in points allowed. Similar to the real life Miami Dolphins, all these flashes are amazing, but all what matters is the postseason, and the AFC Championship game proved that the team was just a flash in the pan.

Thats a very valid statement and just like RL football, its a good idea not to count a win before you get it and the clock is done, and in MFN, there's always the chance of catching a bad sim.

I would also add that last seasons sack leader, LB/DE George Daniels, #93, was traded to Miami from LA Rams in the 2003 season. He racked up an incredible 40 sacks his first season for Miami. In the 3 previous seasons for the Rams he only had 3 total !! That is a great example of how to make best use of a players specific attributes in MFN. Daniels has speed/83, strength/96, and pass rush/100. and you add the speed advantage of a LB at DE. Yahtzee!
