GG Pats, owner has been reported as missing following his usual morning ocean swim. Remember that RL story? lol.

DE Brown ...

The infamous ocean swim and drowning story ....... google Carrol Rosenbloom

Fun fact, I helped produce a story about that for a YouTube video. Sadly, it was my only produced story for that channel, but it was fascinating.

Wow MVR! hows that for a little synchronicity? Growing up in So Cal, the Rams & Chargers were my teams. I lucked out and got invited to a golf tournament for the "Ye Olde Rams" club. Never forget hangin out with some of the famous Rams, Jack Youngblood, et al. Will never forget seeing Tom Fears pick up a big ol lineman who passed out on the clubroom floor, put him over his shoulder and carry him out, threw him in the back of a pickup. He was in his 70s at the time. Ended up goin to a bar with several of the players, riding with Pat Studstill. I had his picture from Sports Illustrated in an album, lol. And then there was Georgia "Front and Reary", and the mob. I played semi-pro, for the San Gabriel Valley Saints, and got invited to a tryout with the Chargers, there were about a hundred wide receivers at the tryout and 2 got picked to go to camp, one of those made it as far as the practice squad. Tough odds, and I knew my chances were slim and none, but was happy to try, my all time football hero was Lance Alworth, and I even copied the way he played, had the same nickname as him everywhere I played. I wanted to wear a single bar like he has in the pic, instead of the double in HS, but they told me that it wasnt allowed anymore, that was 1970.

Lance Alworth, HOF ...

GG to those I missed. My area of S.C. was hit hard by Helene. I have no internet so I'm sitting here at Starbucks trying to get caught up on what's happened.
