Klatt is a good one but this is a pretty one sided trade with Washington coming out on top.
Could this be the result of the good ole trade meter having an effect on putting a deal together? Carolina trades away 20 sacks in 1971 and their 2nd rounder to shore up their tackle position. Might be a heavy price to pay. |

Carolina, which had a winning team last season, continues to obliterate its roster in exchange for adding 6 number one draft choices over the next two seasons. In so doing, Carolina has traded away 7 players with 5 or fewer seasons of experience, each of whom has been designated a starter (number one at their position or number two at DT) for the team to which they were traded. In addition, Carolina traded away an additional 8 other players who were on its roster last season.
It will be interesting to see whether Carolina can convert those future first round draft choices into a winning roster whether through the draft and/or by trading for players. More importantly, will Carolina be competitive this coming season after trading away so much talent? It will be a test of jouameng's game planning ability to be sure.
