I see King for Thorpe in this trade. There is a lot to like with both these players.

The Jets add a nice bookend protector in Thorpe and what's not to like about King. He is averaging 44.5 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 26.5 hurries and 2 forced fumbles per year at the DT position. I like this trade for both teams. The wild card will be the 4th rounder if a diamond in the ruff can be found there.

Note: This completes the trade restriction between the Jets and the Seahawks.

My 3rd string back up DE stepped to fill the hole left by king and will go onto be just as effective, if not more so.

This is Mose first year at DT and he's already excelling at his new position. We don't have a lot of bright spots at the moment, but thus is definitely one of them.
