On a players card when you look at positions, and it lists a number of different positions, are those the ONLY changes you can make when you import the player onto your roster by contractual rights?

If I have a player, Joe Schmoe, and let’s say he’s a full back, on his card, it indicates other positions he can play, and from what I gather( based on the new rules) he would be able to play the positions within that tier, so in this case as a full back, it would be I guess running back tight end or wide receiver?

But I guess I wouldn’t be able to convert him to an offensive lineman?

My understanding is that is now the case, unless OL is listed in that player's position list on that particular player's card. Positions listed are the positions available to change to. Position list varies by player via player generation.

I really don't know exactly as it is right now, but it (the position list on a player card being all a player can change position to) is going to be true when the crossover is complete.

I understand the plan moving forward to eliminate position abuse is to prohibit what positions GMs may change a player to through the position list within the player card.
