I was thinking glitch also. My theory is, with so much not working properly, why couldn't this be part of it also, right? I hope things get suspended until this gets fixed.

I have been aware of issues regarding the new UI when it comes to random abandonments or teams. I was going to give a heads up about that, but I’ve been doing photography this past week of the 12 Hours of Sebring IMSA race and haven’t had time to put the announcement. I’ve delayed the sim 2 days and will clear dead cap of teams affected from what happened.
