Rivera is actually the TE I traded you from Pittsburgh. Listed 3rd on TE depth chart, and Looks like he only got 1 start and 99 total plays for the year so not surprised by any of these numbers with that volume.

Agreed. I expected your response as it's quite valid.
Not sure if you took a look at his preseason stats, but the trend was well established. The film of his 4 games as a starter shows a lot, too, if youre into that.
I had 2 established TE's on my roster in 2014 prior to adding Rivera.
RIvera was a "ive got 2 8 yr te's and i better have a backup because te's are always so thin and quickly drafted in the draft" trade.
He's going to get a LOT more reps in 2015 as my likely #1 candidate (and my only te on my current roster efa2 2015).
Ive accomplished a lot with similar players to Rivera - occasionally - in the past.

If he fails me, i'm going to chalk it up to the "some players do better on some teams than others and sometimes good players don't do well at all yet sometimes bad players are supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" theory/conspiracy just so i can sleep at night.

ps - i definitely should have used him more as a blocker, and i knew that throughout the 2014 season. I just got lazy about overs after wk 3..... :P
