no worries. Was working efa2 today, ran some errands, came back to see the sim was delayed a day and again was thankful.
I'm a huge fan of longer off seasons. The extra time is useful - both for my game stuff and my life stuff.

edit: your player card is updated as to you leaving CLE, but not updated as to which team you are with now - although i may have glossed over it.

Back with the Browns, looking at what the auto manager did to the roster, hard to believe that it has gotten worse instead of improved, for example... 2 old kickers that were not needed at full salary and bonuses. also a punter.
All players added are old vets with low to average speed at best, all on full contract & bonus amounts, so unless dead cap gets zero'd, it will be tough to fix.

In NFL, whenever someone takes over a team, then my standard approach is always to clear the cap.

Ai shouldn't formulate perfect rosters after someone leaves. Yes, it need improving, which is I believe ongoing work.
