It has been a long time since i've been this excited for T/C!

Don't get excited, only leads to disappointment.

Expect everyone to bust, then you get happy when some boom.

It's been a very long time since I've been naive enough to be excited for training camp. The only reasonable approach is bracing for the gut punch.

That being said, there are draft class changes coming that should be very welcome...

This is my biggest rookie class in a VERY LONG time. I usually trade all my picks to get better players. This time, I committed to selling and rebuilding through the draft.

I drafted 9, and then signed the remaining two i had on my list that were not drafted lfa2.
So, 11 rooks this year.
My team is quite old. Im hoping to get enough prog + to be able to trade out some vets that still have a yr or 2 of tread on them.

I'm going into the 2015 TC with a full 60 players.

I currently have 10 pix for 2016 - 7 of them in rounds 1-4 ;)
May lady luck shine on all of us this T/C. *grin*

NFL stats:
84 percent of players drafted in rounds 1-4 make the opening game roster.
It decreases from there.
The net success rate of drafted players (players drafted that were onopening day rosters) rounds 1-7 + supplemental picks in the NFL is 54%.

I'd be happy if MFN draftees hit the 50/50 mark. ;)

Still really happy with the volume of draftable players this year. What I needed finally jived with what was generated.

BTW, I picked up a WR out of FA, a former first rounder that was cut after he busted big time (-15), in another league, cant remember which one off hand, will try to find it. He put up a league leader stats for me so far. have had that happen on other FAs that got tossed for bad busts. Dont let busts or big progress negs throw you off a player who was initially higher rated, go by the stats/performance. The atts and stats dont lie.
