I'll put a poll up for next season to approve for rules. I do miss being able to put a 6th OL as a TE in run game situations. I feel like that option should be brought back seeing that 6 OL formations are becoming more common in the NFL. Either that or allow MFN should allow us to use a weight scale that adds bonus stats for a player. Like if I want a 280 pound TE, he loses stats for catching, acceleration, but gains in strength run/pass blocking. Or if I want a small frame RB like 190 pounds, I lose strength, breaking tackle, blocking, and receiving stats but gain in speed and ball carrying skills. If that makes sense.
There have been discussions with JDB on this, it's not as simple as it sounds given the game engine.
If you allow an OL as TE for blocking, then you have to accept TE as OL, which means you an theoretically play an OL all of whom 30-50+ lbs under position weight.
Some admins complained the matrix takes a lot of setting up, so wanted it amended to be reciprocal when you make a change. The simple answer would be to revert that, so setting OL as TE doesn't enable TE as OL.
Longer term, been discussions around bodyframe / weight restrictions on putting into depth chart / overrides, changing position.
