Same argument about this LB. Carolina gives up an LB that will be just as an effective LB and a bunch of other pieces in this trade. Unless both of these LBs are moved to DE, I don't see the value here.

Wooo Garcia is a stud. Great pick up by Carolina. The draft picks might be close to a wash. As for Miami, they pick good 3 very good starters. Castillo is a lil bit of a liability with his lack of strength and accel. But he does have decent stats. Worse case for him would be a good rover backup O-lineman in the middle. But could start if needed. I really like DT Smith. He can impact the D-trenches for Miami. And LB Howard is alil bit sluggish but would make a good backup and special teams player. I like this for both teams.

Note: This completes the trade restriction between Carolina and Miami.

The original deal was going to be 4 1st rounders for both Garcia and German. The reason Castillo, Howard, and Smith were thrown in was because I had gotten myself into a tight cap situation and needed to clear them before I could take on the contract of both Garcia and German. They were both young LB’s that I felt would solidify my LB core for years to come and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do so!
