GG Seattle/awest, the Pack turned it completely around after looking bad vs SF last game. McCune had pass rush in his face on most every pass attempt, was surprised he did as well as he did with that pressure. Quite a win for the Pack vs the #1 power ranker. Defense was also a nice surprise, especially vs a 30+ pt per game offense. Guess we caught a good sim on that one.
Great Game GrandadB you didn't just win you made my team look bad. I don't know how you did it but congrats, I never saw that coming. I hope nothing like that happens to me in the playoffs.
Stupid kicker missed a 20 something yard field goal which would have given us 17-16 lead at that point. The lack of talent on this team is painfully evident at times. This offense enjoys the pain of kicking itself repeatedly in the nether regions.
Not taking away your defense's performance in the least bit though. Tough defense.
We at least made a game of it. Dice rolls didn't do us any favors. An Int to a D-lineman in the endzone for a TD. Whaaaaat? And we drive the field at the end with a first and goal and our QB gets hurt and has to sit out for 2 plays ending in the backup QB throwing an Int in the end zone. Some teams just know how to loose. lol
Good luck in the playoffs. The Pats could do some damage.
NFC West is tied once again with Green Bay upending Seattle and Los Angeles win over slumping Atlanta.
Detroit stays on Green Bay's heels as they win their 3rd straight.
Washington continue to roll with the leagues best record @ 11-1. Philly's struggles continue and are now tied with Detroit and Carolina for that last playoff spot.
New Orleans stays one game up on Carolina as they both win
Oakland and Kansas City both win in the race for the AFC West title San Diego has got it rolling after a slow start by beating the tough Cincinnati Bengals quad in the battle for a wild card spot. The win gives the Super Chargers the tie breaker over the Bengals.
New England and Buffalo wins close ones to continue their ongoing AFC East race that's been going on for a few seasons. Jets win the Big Apple game against the Giants.
Cleveland opens up a two game lead in the AFC North with a win. Pittsburgh jumps into the wild card hunt with San Diego and Cincinnati. All 3 teams are at 7-5.
Jacksonville wins again maintaining their 2 game lead in the AFC South. But they better not look back as Indianapolis is got a 2 game win streak and only a couple games behind the Jags.
GM notes: Rookie GM Offensive Taco still looking for his first win @ Paydirt. Duval leads the rookie race at 7-5. Meatmen has steady himself in Kansas City and got them back rolling.
Player of the Week History. A little history and info on our players of the week. In our first season at Paydirt, MFN did not have their version of PotW. I had to go through every game each week and put potential PoW in a list to narrow them done to a group to choose from. Then go through that group and then choose our PotW.
Thank god MFN's PotW came out cause the old way took a lot of time. Even though the way I did it before this feature came out was prolly more accurate it just took way too much time. Now I choose them from the weekly list provided by MFN. It may not be perfect and their are prolly better candidates not getting a look but I dont have that much time to go through them all like I did in the beginning. Hope this explains the process I use to pick your guys PotW.
