I'd move Howard to the DL instead of the FS. Unless you're playing cover 2 the entire time, two slow safeties are a liability. But I can see how this trade works out for both teams.

Yes, but in limited play. The most I've seen someone gain or lose weight during TC is 25-30 pounds. By game 6 or so, a DB that starts in the 200-220 range can be effective on the DL.

Howard is at 241#. He'll hit game weight by the end of preseason.
