Proposal:

Change the Hall of Fame criteria of QB's needing 30,000 passing yards to 35,000. Currently, 14 QB's are eligible for nomination but moving the criteria to 35,000 would help narrow the field to the truly elite QB's. Also changing the criteria of WR's needing 50 TD catches to 70 TD catches as that'll narrow the field from 19 to the truly top tier WR's in 5. The criteria should be higher, making it easy to nominate those who were true consistent top talents. With those 2 criteria's in place now, there are too many players eligible who don't even belong in the conversation and with the coming seasons, more players will push into being eligible that shouldn't.
