For me it's all about play familiarity and injury avoidance. Or maybe showcase a trade block player here and there. Tryout a few things, but never show your gameplans in the pre-season. That's like blood in the water for some of these GM's. Oh and they can smell it from a long ways away.
Well I never change my game plan my goal is just to get a great roster and other teams can try to beat them with their game planning. I would hope people do some sort of game planning even if it's just trying out things. But apparently your trying out things and injury avoidance is a lot better than my game plan. It wasn't blood in the water last season, I had the same game plan all season and it never seemed to hurt me.
