There were 3 GM's in the running for the Philly job and the Eagles decided to go with fresh blood to lead them against the likes of the Cowboys, Giants and the Redskins who have won the NFC East division for the last 5 seasons. The Eagles organization is confident in the rookies vision to challenge for the division crown, but know it will take a couple season to get the team where they want it.
