coltsfan75 gets the Colts starting in 1970. A match made in heaven.

Welcome to Paydirt. And welcome to MFN for that matter. After joining just a week ago you truly have rookie status. This is by far my favorite sim text football game and the only one I play now. You have some good vets in this league already, so ask away in the "Help Section" if you have any questions.

So what will it be, Luck or Manning. Dickerson or Faulk? What style do you want to build? It's nice to start off with a fresh team.

Great to have ya and good luck in the Hoosier Dome.

Thank you, trslick. Looking forward to learning from the veterans. One question, will we be able to trade the first year, or will we have to wait.

I'm checking with jdb on this.

I'm not sure it's different with Private leagues as this hasn't been brought up to my knowledge.

Per jdb, in private leagues Rookie GM's are still under their normal trade restrictions.

I post in the trade thread on this to get your guys feedback. Since you are a rookie GM I want to get your opinion on this along with the vets over on that thread.
