We now have the following 5 volunteers to be on the Trade Committee:
jouameng (Carolina)
Salty_Watermelon (Houston)
CrazyRazor (Detroit)
Meatman (Kansas City)
dd35 (Tennessee)
The following rules shall apply immediately:
1. Any GM, including members of the Trade Committee, may challenge a trade on its own volition.
2. A trade challenge shall be made by notifying the site administrator via Private Message that the trade is challenged.
3. The site administrator will promptly notify all GMs of a trade challenge on the thread announcing the trade and thereupon solicit the votes of the Trade Committee to approve/disapprove the challenged trade.
4. When a trade is challenged, the participants in the challenged trade shall immediately freeze the assets, i.e., player(s) and/or draft choice(s), until the Trade Committee has rendered a decision to approve/disapprove the challenged trade. No GM may engage in a trade which includes the frozen assets until the Trade Committee has rendered a decision to approve/disapprove the challenged trade.
4. A majority of the Trade Committee members who cast a vote shall determine whether the challenged trade has been approved/disapproved. For example, even if only one member of the Trade Committee votes or two members of the Trade Committee unanimously vote to approve or disapprove the challenged trade, that will be sufficient to render a decision on the challenge.
5. In the event of a tie vote on the Trade Committee, the site administrator shall render the determining vote on whether the challenged trade is approved/disapproved. If the site administrator is a trade participant to a challenged trade, the site administrator may not cast a vote to break a tie and the challenged trade shall be deemed disapproved.
6. A Trade Committee member may cast a vote to approve/disapprove a trade by casting a vote via Private Messenger sent to the site administrator. Each Trade Committee member and the site administrator may, but is under no obligation to, disclose whether it cast a vote to approve or disapprove a challenged trade.
7. No member of the Trade Committee may cast a vote to approve/disapprove a trade in which such member is a trade participant.
8. If a challenged trade is made shortly before the next game phase is to occur, the challenging GM or any Trade Committee member may request that the next upcoming game phase be delayed one day in order to give the Trade Committee an opportunity to vote to approve/disapprove the challenged trade.
9. The site administrator reserves the right to delay the next game phase if a trade is made and challenged before the Trade Committee has ample time to cast a vote to approve/disapprove a challenged trade.
