This trade will stand. It was passed by a very narrow margin. The trade committee had to against and one definitely for the trade. The other team members while they did not think it was a good trade did not feel it was bad enough to be reversed. Is always there will be differing opinions when it comes to trades. That being said, it is part of the reason I have turned the trade meter back on. I am not a huge fan of the trade meter!. It does however these type of grade off at the pass. Also it convince anyone who has ever had a like IP address from Trading with each other. It is also the reason I have instituted the 30 day trade ban for any new GM with under 1 year real life experience in mfn. I'll be sending out invitations this weekend to try and fill the open teams. If anyone has a friend or enemy that you would like to recommend for hey dirt please have them contact me and let me know that you have recommended them. The league is no longer visible to the public thank you for your time and to the gentleman who filled in the spots in the trade committee thank you so much for your input.

This was a huge mistake from Miami. There is no player in the draft that deserve 3 1st rounds and with Carolina and Detroit without a GM the 1st/10 round they just give become a lot more valuable. Even if they win the SB for the next two seasons this deal will remain a huge mistake. Now if they will finish like the last two seasons this trade will make history like the biggest mistake made by the Trade Committee

My #1 thought is that each owner wants to run their team their own way, so I don't like challenging trades unless they are over-the-top blatantly egregious. I don't think this trade meets that level at all.

Second, we worry about an owner trading future firsts because they are trying to win this season and then they quit the league. MVRowner just endured two of the most brutal seasons possible with the cap space **** Miami was in when he took over. Two 1-15 seasons. He stuck it out. Now is when he gets to actually build his team. I don't see him quitting this team now that he has like 25 picks in the first two rounds this season. So, in my opinion, his trading future number ones is not the concern it usually is. If it was my team, I would have tried to put late first round picks in there instead of the future ones, but that's just me. MVRowner can make his own choices.

Third, none of this has anything to do with the fact that I have an offer in for the overall #1 pick. Just being up front with all of you. I made that offer before any issues came up with this trade. So if MVRowner accepts my offer, please don't think I am just setting the table to get my trade to go through. The trade meter is in my favor slightly, and I really don't expect MVR to approve, but I wanted to open the door to see if I could get that pick.

This is coming from a guy who took a team in BIG cap trouble and low talent level, straightened it out, 1st season went 14-2 with 24/27? "replacemaent" players (out of the FA pool) in what was (then) easily the toughest division in paydirt. He has stayed with Paydirft and that is my goal. To foster LONG TERM owner/gm's and make it tough for the one and done guys. It was a horrible trade in my book I agree with the decenting members here. I did note that 4-5 TC members felt is was not a good trade. In the end we did not get the votes to overturn. It happens that way sometimes.

The cream always rises to the top! Everyone knows if your take time to learn the game and put .in the time You will succeed! You don't need multiple #1's and $147M FA WR's (it Helps) to . What you do need is that thing on your shoulders! another oppertunity to nominate TC Members You May hold the Conference comissioner title and be a TC membe .....................MM

I can see the point of view of the fox, I am sypathetic to the pov of the hound as well. I give MVR a lot of credit for sticking it out. He is doing things the Sinatra way, "MY WAY" I applaud that as well. When I saw this trade I KNEW it was going to be a point of contention. There are a wide variety of opions on tradeing. and I bow as LA have to try and make everyone well........kinda happy. I don't want to deny anyone from building thier team. UNLESS, It causes strife in the league. We have ALL seen different GM's amass multitudes of picks year after year, Most (not all) fail. The drafts after 18 seasons are not allocation drafts. Even if MVR had a crystall ball a rabbits foot and Houdini coaching him from the grave. He wont be able to make eniugh good picks and sustain the salaries. 17 picks in the top 4 rounds? I am not trying to discourage or rmbarrass you MVR. Just know that many more experienced have tried and rarely succeeded. I will say it again I want to foster long term people like Damion and Mariarul MVR so Paydirt can thrive! A league where any owner/GM can win on any given Sunday.

I thank you both for you thoughtful opinions...........................................................MM
