My weights have both players in the mid to high 60's and the default is so close it's not worth mentioning. If their nratings were higher I might call foul. The way I look at it is:

RB Chavez is a 4yr guy drafted 3:21 with a 62/65 default, great speed and carry BUT NO catch. He has low but undrstandable reg season stats. He only has 12 carries for 50 yards BUT he has 2 rushing Tds! and a 4.2 ypc avg. Despite the low catch he has cuaght 4 of 5 passes in his 2 seasons for only 31 yards (80%). His progress is going up slowly, +13/+2. NOt world class but he may make t to be a mid 70's player if you want to invest the time?

CB Allen was clearly a first round hopeful that did not pan out. 1:18 and 66 vol don't mix imho. -19/-16 Never the less his stats are acceptable as long as you aren't looking for him to be you CB 1 2 3....his 3 year career #'s are ok, 48% catch allowed is kinda high but he has knocked down 57 and intercepted 10. More than likely due to his speed. overall could be a useful back up an seems to have stopped his progress from plummeting.

I thimnk both teams may benefit from this deal........................................MM

I have the RB 82/86

SPEED
BALL CARRY
AVOID FUMBLE

That's all that matters for a RB

Pass catch is next to meaningless because RB targets are 99% dump offs and quick passes.

He isn't developing fast enough for the same reason he has no stats....he hasn't seen the field but the few times he has...he has produced.

The CB I have at 80/81 isn't a CB1 or CB2 but his m2m is good enough to be slot (CB3) or obviously CB4 or CB5.

I'm not gonna challenge the trade but I am trying to educate the owner he let go of 2 players that could clearly help his team for basically nothing.

The 2nd he got....the only draft pick of value isn't until we play 3 complete seasons...this only hurts his team for the next 3 seasons and may pay off with nothing especially if he doesnt value speed.

To show the importance of speed....this is my RB3 in the XFL league....it's a league in its 19th season and always full of quality owners.

As you can see he only has speed...ball carry, avoid fumble and pass catching all **** but....

I've had a dozen RBs with speed and lacking much else especially pass catch with similar results.

point taken.....still they are 2 60 rated back-up players. I's a far cry from the out and out way that the some of our former GMs conducted business. ricmoney is an established 4 year vet of MFN and I personally can say that mariarul is on the level and knows what he is doing. I have been diomg this long enough to realize not everyone will agree with every trade. This is not a case of a 60-70 rater traded for a 1:1-1:10. t's 2 60 rters and some VERY low picks 91 rounds 6&7 will proably 28 to 32 go in the draft. '92 #6 the same and just in case of a mass coronal ejection I don't se '93 out of the lower 3rd in the draft order. Was it a good trade, perhaps not, it's one of those "beautiy is in the eye of the beholder" cases. I learned the hard way to "pick my battles" this one is just a skirmish. lol I really do apriciate your attempt to educate you are defimitley smarter than the average bear. I would not have made the trade But that being said it was made by 2 veteran guys I trust. I have stopped trying to figure out what goes through the minds of the Paydirt GMs......................................................MM

Point taken but they are 2 80 rated players to me. That's my only point!

I need to keep my mouth shut, I forget that not everyone uses my weights or weights similar to mine.

Nothing to see here...move along!
