Why does this player exist???

He is a 5th year player so age has nothing to do with his speed!

To put his 9 speed in persceptive, there are currently 3,254 ACTIVE PLAYERS faster then him!

That's right if you do a player search for "MAX SPEED"....102 pages of active roster or current free agents pop up!

Each page has 32 players on it which equals 3,264 players so this FB is slower then all but 10 of those players.

If you are working the math that's 102 players active for each team.

In a game where speed is the primary asset for just about every position, why have an actual skill position player created with 9 speed.

If your argument is that a FB is a glorified offensive linemen then still there are literally 500 offensive lineman 4× as fast as him!

With 9 speed how is he suppose to hit the hole in front of a 80+ speed RB?

Sorry but I find it awful hilarious and can only assume the player is missing a leg or foot to be that slow.

My teams slowest non-kicker/QB is a center with 43 speed and I have two 13th year LG who are literally 6× faster then him! That means if they raced 100 yards, these old 300 pound linemen could run at least 500 yards before the FB finished his 100 yards!!!

LMAO!!!

PAYDIRT NEWS

Five years after graduating UCLA and becoming infamous at the combine for recording the slowest 40 time ever (7.06 seconds), Barry Yang finally was signed by the Oakland Raiders.

He went undrafted and teams didn't even invite him to future tryouts based on his incredibly slow & record breaking 40 time. It's been 5 years since he suited up to play football and has spent that time working at T-mobile where he sells phones.

We tried to contact someone in the Raiders organization for a statement but none of our calls were returned. All we have to go on is this photo an intrepid reporter got during a Raiders OTA.

We hate to jump to any conclusions based on a single photograph but it seems save to say, Yang hasn't gotten any faster the past 5 years!!!

An anonymous source said 37 year old kicker Malik McCardle who is a 13 year vet and considered by everyone the slowest Raider possibly EVER raced Yang after an OTA and beat him handily!

I just know he’s gonna score at least 1 TD this season (probably against me). Wouldn’t use the guy in normal or long yardage situations, but he could be a weapon at the goal line as scouts marvel at his ability to be completely unmoved by opposing players and seemingly effortless ability to “absorb” the ball when given the opportunity.

*editor’s note—his pass catching and strength isn’t maxed out like one would hope, so maybe it’s pointless to count on that “stand there and catch this score”. Also he is only 228 pounds currently and listed at fullback, so if he stays there or switches to TE, he will gain weight and get even slower!

Rumor has it that they are about to sign Barry’s brother Ying! Ying was clocked at 6.08 in the 40. He plays HB and is known as a bruising runner! His slow methodical running style is a perfect complement to Barry’s lead blocking!

I want to see him on a kick return. If the wedge holds their blocks, he’ll walk through the kicker in about 30 seconds. Maxed out carry, break tackle, and fumble is exactly what you want there… Visions of Tecmo bowl with Heyward having the entire defense bounce off him multiple times.
