The New England Patriots hire veteran GM vcr5150.

vcr5150 is exactly what the Patriots were looking for to fill their GM position according to team owner Paul Revere in a press conference @ foxboro. He was a lil out of breath after warning everyone about the British just hours before but also added that he was looking for a veteran GM that regularly puts his team in the playoffs. vcr5150 takes over a team with a nice roster foundation, decent cap situation and all their draft picks. They might be able to compete for the AFC division title in 75'. They will be challenging a tough and 2 time division champ Buffalo team, a rising Miami and defending division champion and a Jets-Jets-Jets team who ...................well ya never know. The Patriots have 2 division crowns in their history and look to add to that with vcr5150 soon. The AFC East just got tightened up.

Good luck in New England and welcome to Paydirt.

Thank you for the introduction.

I took this position because there are some pieces to make New England a strong football team. Unfortunately, many currently on the team won't see the turnaround firsthand. There is a lot of fat to be trimmed off this Porterhouse in both personnel and salary cap. We will be looking hard this off-season to improve the number of football players that can make an impact in games on this team.

Based on the amount of action the message board has - this looks to be a fun league. I'm looking forward to participating in the upcoming seasons.
