Not really, a late first round pick for an improving lineman. Looking at the marketplace this was the top young lineman available that doesn’t belong to Cleveland, Seattle, or Carolina that was on the trade block. If teams want offers they need to put their players out there.
Unfortunately I didn't get this team until after or late in the draft, so most of the cards for this season were dealt before I took over. This team looked as though it was autopicked through the draft and free agency well... There were ancient players 10 years plus when I took the team. I figured I would be happy with an 8-8 record. In regards to the pick I traded a WR who was good but not what I was looking for it, then traded the pick for a much needed offensive lineman.
