1982 is shaping up to be the year of musical chairs.

Things are already heating up with the GM Carousel. We have a former Super Bowl Champion leaving his team for new horizons in another city. And there are also rumors on a couple of other GM's that might be changing team colors as well. Stay tunes.

Attention GM's on the Hot Seat:
You can pm me about getting another team if yours gets claimed.

Seattle GM awest827 has thrown his hat into the Silly Season party. What a great team for somebody. Where will he end up next year?

Is it the “SETHRICK EFFECT”? ;-)

I feel like I've done everything I can do with Seattle. I made the team exactly the way I want it. I don't really know how to improve it anymore. I barely made any moves this season. Even with that team I realize that I have no chance against Carolina next season. So I figured maybe it is time to shake things up and move to the AFC to a team that has never made the playoffs and see what I can do.

I sent out pm's to all the Hot Seat GM's and to everyone on the waiting list with info on sending me their priority lists for the teams that are available.

We will start the hiring process after the Super Bowl. So instead of our normal 1 day Sim Delay at seasons end, it might be an extra day or two to get all the jobs sorted. I will keep the available teams list and waiting list updated. So send me your updated lists if any as we go.

Sorry Guys I forgot to include Washington.

Note:
Any team that I am currently on in either league is always open.

You can update your lists as many times as you wish up until the deadline which is 1 minute before Super Bowl XII.

You mean the two free wins a year? My team was awful this year, and will be awful next year.

Your teams always seem to play better than one would expect based on the roster. But I feel your pain. Well, not really. Anyway, I bet you're better than .500 next season. No one does more with less than you do.

You've had a great run with Seattle. Based on the age of its roster (most teams get there sooner or later), it will be a challenge to maintain Seattle's level of success past another season or two. GL wherever you land.
