rectify them, Rectify them, RECTIFY THEM!!!!...I am not in favor changing or the slacking of any existing rules...not really in favor of a penalty..this go round...because it's not a rile yet...going forward we need to hold GM's accountable and ones that can't follow protocol should be sanctioned...automatic reversal.....and a loss / drop of a pick.,....??? it's hard as IDK what the league would or could do...

Just a heads up on your guys ideas:
The game doesn't allow for admin manipulation or deletion of draft picks.
Voiding of trades is only possible in some situations. We have to work with the hand the game gives us hence this position.

It's the first time we have had this happen that I can remember in our 14th season. Which does surprise me given the many opportunities this could come about. This says a lot about the leagues GM's and their integrity.

Im sure we'll find a workable solution to this without resorting to drastic measures.
Please keep this thread on topic so that we can resolve this as we have limited time to do so.

So far myself, Im liking JG's solution of trading back the 1st rounder.
awest's can work if the NYJ get themselves a 1st rounder before the 48 hrs is up.
Still up for more ideas if yall have them.

Side Note:
Im only giving opinions here as I do not have a vote. Only GM's will be voting on this.

Another point that I think needs consideration here is that the Jets used two first round picks in this current draft. So they had at least one first round pick when the draft started, used them and will have a first round pick again as soon as the system updates for three upcoming seasons. The Jets will not go three consecutive drafts without using a first round pick.

Rule Change Passed and starts 1979.

Team owners must always have at least 1 first round pick showing on your future draft picks page.

I need to move that up into the main body of the rules. Doing that now.

The main post still has the way I first wrote it up which is not good verbiage.

I will update it to match the amendment when I get back from my running around town. (couple hrs).

I think this needs amended to read "... when three years of draft picks are listed."

As I stated earlier, the Jets made two first round picks this year. They (and me) should not be penalized for not having a first round pick when the window is now just two years instead of the normal three.
